Guess what? Tomorrow is Zoo Day!
Who knew that was even a thing buuttt it is and with the days melting together and the inability to go out most zoos have created live streams for our kids to enjoy from home.
We love the zoo and even thought about buying the yearly member again, but COVID happened and here we are, so these live streams are greatly appreciated.
Lesson plan for tomorrow
Let’s plan some fun activities around the ZOO theme. We can have our kids pretend to be said animals and print out coloring pages. Also, check out Youtube videos to find a tutorial to draw animals. Last week we did a few times and Bella (5) loved it.
If your child is smaller try finding books around the home and letting them point out the animals they see! Small activities like these are perfect for their little brains and give us parents a reason to whip out our phones in record them.
These will become the best memories in this bad situation.
Remember our kids don’t see this pandemic as we do and it is our job as parents to make it ok and fun for them.
TIP: Most animals are sleeping early morning and late afternoon, we have found that the best time is around 11-12:30 or 2. After that those sleep heads snooze off.
