What season of life are you in today? I don’t mean like fall, summer, or winter, I mean honestly dig deep, what season of life are you in today?
I can honestly say I’m in the running season. I feel like every day I’m running a marathon that I’m always late to by the way. I know this is normal for many moms and after the last few months, we are probably all in that same season, the trying to catch our breath season.
Trying to swim to reach that safe zone where we can finally rest and for many of us is hard to get to that rest zone as we like being busy, but today I want to talk to you, yes you the mom or women reading this with all the weight on your shoulders. So give yourself permission to grab a cup of coffee, sit down and join me as I share a few new products that I’m adding to my self-care activities to de-stress and some activities you can do today as well!
1.Give yourself a makeover.
In my case, I bought Custom Hair Dye from e-Salon for the first time ever and may be hooked for life.
I think the last time I dyed my hair was over a year ago and guys all my grays came to the party and stayed a while. My hair has been on my to-do list for a few weeks and the moment that I crossed it off it felt amazing. I’ve been dying my hair at home for many years since I normally dye it a very similar color to mine just to hide my grays, but I was in love with e-Salon and how much they actually help. I was able to pick a hair color that matched mine and covered my grays. The best part, everything is personalized.
Also, everything is included in your custom kit.
I love the final color. It looked so natural and very soft.
After….. you see the shine.
2.Grab a book and take an hour off to read.
Babble Box sent me A Fool’s Paradise from Robyn Williams and I can’t wait to dig in.
Reading is one of my all-time favorite things and sadly as a mom, I don’t always have the time but I love sitting on my couch during naptime, snuggled up in a comfy blanket, and a great book, especially if it’s a book about romance. You can purchase this ebook, here for only $4.49.
3.Try something new.
I have never tried a lip plumping gloss, I didn’t even know they were a thing and now I’m in love. I’m already planning on adding a few of these as stocking stuffers this Christmas. It’s a great gloss with an added plumping effect and very easy to clean.
You can use code SELFCARE10 for 10% off your entire purchase. Valid through 9/30/20
4. Find a new way to do old things.
I tried a new sanitizer that’s a little gentler on my hands.
Let’s be honest if there were a product award sanitizers would win without a doubt this year, and Born Basics would take the win.
I love that it has 62% alcohol instead of 70% and it doesn’t leave my hands screaming for lotion, while still meeting all FDA guidelines. You can find Born Basics exclusively at Target and take care of your hands this winter.
5.Do something you love.
I went back to doing my own toes after years of getting them done but before that, I hated getting my feet done at a salon. I don’t know if I was just afraid of the germs or just the fact that I don’t like my feet touched, but I would do my nails at home and loved it. This year I went back to doing my own toes and it’s bliss. I love trying new products on my feet and keeping them smooth.
Since I’m almost always barefooted it’s hard to keep them smooth all the time but with Kerasal Intense Foot repair, my feet are very smooth after minimal use. They even have a Multi-Purpose Nail Repair to help heal toenails that have been damaged.
You can find all the Kerasal products at Amazon or Target.
6. Pick up your favorite coffee.
I’m not a pumpkin spice person but I do love me some flavored coffee.
7. Go outside and spend some time with your loved ones!
