It’s summer and funny enough it’s halfway over. Every year it flies by and now with Bella officially in school somehow it went by faster, but here is the thing, as cliche as it may sound we only have 18 summers with them so we try our best to make it their best! That said, many of us have jobs and work outside or inside the home, but today I want to share with you a few activities you too can do at home with your kiddos that are simple yet activities they’ll love.
This is perfect for any age child. This saved me so many times during our hospital stay the last few weeks agoat the hospital! For smaller kids have a scavenger hunt with pictures and for older kids make them read the words and it works as a reasinf activity as well!
This one is probably a favorite. All you need is their favorite little toys, a ballon and water. Put their toy inside the balloon and add water! Once frozen cut the balloon and give them spoons or even paintbrushes and let them melt the ice and “rescue” their toy!
In your Kitchen mixer add 1/2 of water, 1/4 cup of Dawn dish soap, and your favorite food color. Mix until fluffy and let them go outside and paint anything! Or if it too hot put the foam inside a ziplock bag and let them draw over it.
Lastly and probably my favorite is Free Learning time
We got all of these amazing goodies from The Beginner’s Bible Gift Guide and they have been great! The girls really enjoy them and more than anything they are learning so much! Honestly, as a Christian mom, I sometimes worry about their education as everything nowadays has hidden messages and things I don’t feel comfortable with them learning about just yet and I’m happy I found ZonderKidz and The Beginner’s Bible products. They have so many products to choose from great for all ages. The girls have fun and learn! They get to learn new bible stories with the Beginners Bible, their preschool workbook, Noah’s Ark discovery book, and their wipe away book!
Incorporating Christian books and in their daily learning time make our job easier, on top of the fact that they stay entertained. Then we have the easy job, to sum up, their lesson and teach them about a subject we love so much! Helping our kids be familiarized with characters of the bible and knowing stories lift our whole entire family up! We get to answer questions at the dinner table and they both enjoy it! We are looking for more amazing products to add to our list to use even past summertime, which we will be sure to share. I have to say that the best part is Bella sharing the stories with her sister as Cami freely colors away in her wipe-away book!
I hope you enjoy these activities as much as we do and I hope you get a chance to check out The Beginner’s Bible Gift Guide on Amazon and get some amazing goodies for your babes as well!
