A little planning can take us a long way, whether we are planners or not having all our ducks in a row can definitely help us have smoother transitions especially for back to school!
I don’t know about you, but this will be Bella’s 3rd year in school (1st grade) and mornings seem to be easier but I won’t lie, I’ve had to go back to school a few times because we left something at home! If you follow me on Instagram you know about our mask debacle last year!
So this year we planned to make a morning and afternoon checklist to keep her in line, and well, us too! That said I will be sharing a morning, afternoon, and my schedule as a mom in the next couple of days to help all of us have a great year, you know with what we can actually control.
First off: Morning Checklist
I feel like I always start with this, but all of this is what fits into our life, our routine so yours may not look the same! So how do you start yours?
Pen and Paper:
On a paper plain as day, write down what you want your child, teen to get done in the AM. Since Bella is only 6 years all of her tasks will be simple yet tasks that we hope one day are able to build her up.
Small things like making her bed and brushing her teeth.
Here is ours!
I went ahead and made a template for your little, (or big) one.
