A couple of weeks ago I shared our graduation tradition and today we are adding one more thing to that tradition, a graduation basket.
My husband shared his tradition of getting a toy whenever he would finish a school year and I loved the idea. Though we are not giving Bella a toy, we already have so many toys as it is, we are getting her a few things that would get her that summer feeling and start our summer on the right foot.
Honestly, after this last year, our kids worked so hard and had to endure so many things they deserve it all. On top of it all, this year for the second time parents will see a actual graduation but a virtual graduation. Together with a few of the classroom moms we are celebrating their graduation with a small party and giving all their kids a precious gift basket!
These basket is budget-friendly and extremely easy, the best part is that you can make it your own.
Materials:
Cricut Joy
Vinyl- The choices are endless.
Your choice of items
O
ur basket has the following
-Cup. It’s summer so we will definitely need it
-Sunglasses. Did I say it’s summer already?!
-Chalk. A staple for summer.
-Bubbles. No matter how old you are bubbles are life.
-Notebook. My girls love to draw and this is small and perfect for car rides.
-Jumprope. Hoping this year I’m able to teach Bella.
-Snack Pouch
I spent a total of $8 in the basket and the extra items but here is the key, make it your own.
How you ask?
This is where the Cricut Joy comes in.
Cricut Joy is a beautiful and easy-to-use machine! I had always been so intimidated by Cricut machines but Joy has been extremely easy and the final results are stunning.
In our basket, we added it to our cups, sunglasses, probably my favorite, notebook, and Snack pouches.
Look how beautiful they look!
You can use Joy for anything in your home and even your clothes!
Tell me what would you do?
