Holiday Ready Bathroom on a Budget

Can’t you believe the holidays are around the corner?

I can’t. This year was a weird one, as I’m sure we can all agree but something about that cooler weather that just gets us all in the holiday spirit and if you are like us that means family gatherings and lots of food!

Today I want to address family gatherings and one way we are getting ready for them is by tackling one area of our house at a time. Today let’s talk about our restrooms/ bathrooms.

In our home, we have 1 and a half bathrooms downstairs and two upstairs yet all of the items we will discuss in this post can be done to every single one of them as can you.

Let’s start.

Paper

 

This is probably the most important part of the bathroom and I’m proud to partner with Angel Soft scented tubes this year. Our favorite scent is Lavender. Not only am I a fan of the color purple but lavender just makes our half bathroom smell amazing. The scent is added to the cardboard tube and it gives off a light, pleasant scent in the bathroom for our guest. I love that I can not only get top quality toilet paper but it will freshen my restroom too and on a budget. You can choose between Fresh Lavender or ​  Fresh Linen scent.

 

Flooring

The biggest change and probably one of the least expensive changes one can do in a restroom is painting the floors. Here is one example.

In our case, our flooring is pretty new but every year or so we clean the grout lines and paint them which leaves our floors looking extremely well. This is paint and scrubber we use.

Carpeting

I love switching out our carpets and since this half restroom is pretty tiny and is the most used restroom in the house, I love finding something that can be durable. Family Dollar is one of my go-to places with durable pieces and multiple color options.

I normally go with grey or brown/ light brown and just add colors from there.

 

Towels

Towels are another favorite at Family Dollar. The color variation and texture are amazing, on top of that they have the cutest holiday prints.

Soap

Family Dollar has such a huge variety of soaps and you cannot beat the price. We choose a “clean” no color added or artificial scents and it’s just amazing.

Decor

This is extra and if you have the room in the budget I encourage you to check out all Family Dollar has to offer. We bought these hanging baskets and use them on top of the toilet with some greenery. We will be hanging these soon but I just love their look, and again another steal.
